Pathetic service Alexander Forbes

Policy: ID# ********** 875085

On 02 August 2016, my employment relationship with Altron was terminated. On 16 August I completed and signed my withdrawal claim and furnished the HR with all necessary supporting documents.

Only on 09 September 2016, Altron HR sent my claim forms to Beverley-Ann Smith which I have proof of submission. When I followed up on 20 September, I was told no claim was submitted. Then I engaged with Altron HR and confirmed that that forms were sent on 9 September already. On 25 September, followed up and requested to speak to Beverley-Ann but I was told she was not on her desk and/or probably not at work. The contact centre consultant promised to get back to me which never happened. The next day with Altron HR the forms were resend and only then were uploaded but still no contact was made with me by Belerley-Ann and the agent.

Since 26 September I had constant engagement with Alexander Forbes in following up but to date this claim has not been finalised. What is of concern is constant promises to call me back but not doing so. The complaints department is worse as they promised to get back to me within 24 hours which they never did. When I finally called again and requested to be forwarded to the department, the consultant at complaints told me the matter has been resolved and I needed to speak to Tarvin a team leader at claims contact centre.

Likewise, Tarvin promised to call me back not once but twice and he rediculasly ignored me. On 10 October, I called back and demanded to speak to him and when he finally answered my call he told me the senior claims administrator (which I learned it was Beverley-Ann) said they are waiting for an interest rate and it will be received by Wednesday, 12 October, and it will be followed by a tax derivative application which will take 24hrs or so. And he promised to keep and eye and priorities this matter and put it on his diary and call me by Thursday.

Today, 14 October, being a Friday I call in and requested him to call back. Worse he failed again to call me but instead asked someone to give me a message that the interest rate MAY be received Monday. Again the consultant notified me that this also comes from Belervley-Ann.

In in the meantime I am sitting with unpaid debit orders and my name is continuously being dented. How do I fulfill promises I made with service providers if I not even sure when will this resolved? The sad part is I am incurring costs in terms of bank charges and me constantly contacting Alexander Forbes. This is terrible services and not sure why Alexander Firbes prides itself with professional advise.

Unhappy client.

Thank you. I hope you will revert. After so many promises to revert I am don't trust anymore. But I am hoping you will.

For me time is of the essence.

Kind regards,
