Not paying benefits on time frame

I have claimed for unclaimed benefits of my deceased mothers after Alexander forbes contacted us, when I made a follow up with them after 5 months of claiming i was told tax directive was declined by SARS. No one called us in that regard. I have made several follow ups and still the benefits are not paid n no one can explain why. May u pls assist me in the mater. Thank you
