Not honoring agreement

I have been with Alexander Forbes for quite some time now. I was retrenched on the 30th of November, 2018 and I started the process with Alexander Forbes from the week after. I struggled for about 2 weeks for them to just receive my paperwork and start the process to pay out my provident fund. When they finally received my paperwork and started the process, they kept telling me that there is a waiting period app**** to my claim and they will email the "admin" for a reply. Another couple of days would go past and I finally got an answer on the waiting period. It seems, Alexander Forbes has to wait for my company to finalize the liquidation before they can pay my money. This is absolutely absurd!!! I was told to phone back today (02.01.2019) to speak to a manager as he would be back today. To my surprise, I was told today that the manager will only be back on the 20th. This is absolutely unacceptable!!! Now I am being penalized because my previous company is liquidating? Nowhere in my contract with Alexander Forbes did I sign that if my company liquidates, that I would have to wait for the liquidation to finalize before I get my provident fund. This could take years?!?! And I only get told to keep phoning next week and next week and next week. It's been a month now and Alexander Forbes has not even started getting my situation seen to. Not to mention all the money I spend to phone and such. I expect to hear an answer by next week Wednesday (09.01.2019) or I will be forced to take this further.
