I am writing on behalf of my brother Sipho Sihle Msomi. Our father passed away in 1990, his name was Welcome Duke Msomi, he was a bus driver at Putco Bus. I was 6 years old and my younger brother Sipho Sihle was about 2 years old. Sipho Sihle was raised by our Granny Constance Fikile Msomi who also passed away in 1998, my brother did not know that our father left us money. All of us got the money which our father left , I used mine to further my studies. Sipho Sihle did not get his because nobody told him until I asked him why is he not studying , and to my surprise he did not know that our father left us money. He tried to claim few years back and he was told that his ID number is not corresponding with the details they have in their system, and he need to provide A death certificate for our late father. He went to home affairs to ask for a death certificate, he only knew our father's full names and date of birth but home affairs asked for our father's ID number, how on earth can a child who was two years old when our father passed away know our fathers Id number? My brother has lost hope, I also dont know our late father's ID number. Can this matter be resolved urgently.
