Money deducted for a financial adviser

I received a statement on my provident fund and noticed that a payment for a "financial service advisor" of almost R1000 a month is being deducted from my provident fund. I enquired as to what the payment is for and what this person does. The response was just to send me a form to terminate his services and the below mail "Please be advised financial adviser is the to assist with your investments from time to time when the need arises" I have asked for this person to call me to explain what this means, sent 3 follow ups and have had no response.

Reviewer Update
My complaint was handled by the complaints department and the financial adviser also phoned me.
They were very professional and provided all the information I required.
Hopefully this was also addressed internally with the "client service" person who responded so unprofessionally to my initial query.
