LUMP SUM DECLARED BUT DIRECTIVE OUTSTANDING

In Sep 2014, I transferred my pension fund into the Preservation Fund of Alexander Forbes. Thereafter towards the end of the year, I requested for a withdrawal to be processed.<br> <br> To my understanding everything was processed & monies was paid to me which was fine at that time as I was made aware that the relevant taxation was paid to SARS.<br> <br> Now that it is tax season, I have completed my tax return BUT now I am receiving an error from SARS stating that<br> it is a CODE 9857 Error where the LUMP SUM WAS DECLARED BUT DIRECTIVE OUTSTANDING.<br> <br> On calling SARS, I have been referred to Alexander Forbes & when contacting Alexander Forbes they advised me to contact SARS.<br> <br> I need clarity on the situation as it seems the relevant parties are unsure of what's going on in this matter.<br> <br> I would like to file my TAX Return, Please can someone contact me urgently regarding this matter as I would like to have it resolved ASAP.<br> <br> Your call centres are currently of no help in the situation.<br> <br> In fact Sugendree Moodley states the only tax directive available is the IRP 5 from the preservation fund. This was also sent to me with incorrect income on the IRP5.<br> <br>
