LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND OWNERSHIP
Alexander Forbes is a company that I will go out of my way to never use their services again. They have greatly impacted my academic future by unnecessarily delaying my withdrawal.
100% of the time I was the one who had to reach out to them to get things moving forward. And when the process would be delayed due to a third party they would not contact me. I would have to contact them for an update and then they would disclose that I need to do XYZ.
My application was submitted and I received the initial text on 13/12/2019 “ Alexander Forbes has received your claim. We'll finalize your claim within 4 weeks after we receive all relevant documents and your last month's contribution.”
I was then told in the 4th week, only because I called them, that I needed to update my ID information. I did so and then I was directed to SARS.
I went to SARS the next business day because, hey I needed those funds to register for my 2020 academic year. I then submitted all relevant information to AForbs the same days I went to SARS. I wants playing around because my education is a priority for me and my family’s future.
After a week passed by I seceded to call AForbes and again they had failed to contact me to provide me with an update. I was told that I have to wait up to 21 days in orders for SARS to accept the manual tax application.
In total this will be 11 Weeks!
If A Forbes has managed my expectations with updating me as they stare they would, I could have made arrangements for my registration which ends on 7th February.
Thank you so much for compromising my academic future and leaving one more youth without tertiary education.
