Is hthis Elderly Abuse?

Why should it be necessary for people to air their problems with Alexandra Forbes on a public platform? Your very existence is based on finance and pensioners are a huge part of this establishment. I say this because my husband has had the unfortunate misfortune of trying to get a letter from AF that he must produce to SARS. The problem arose between Alexandra Forbes and SARS yet the onus of getting this matter sorted out within 30 days has become his burden. Telephonically, I was told that AF had no record on their system of this huge amount of interest that SARS erroneously claimed that he received, yet AF cannot put this down on an email? Trying to get a progress update from AF is totally impossible . It appears they couldn’t care less just how upsetting it is for the elderly – or anyone for that matter - not to be answered nor to be given any indication of just what their understanding of “urgent” really is. It’s definitely not the promised 3 day period given by their Admin Department. Seven days later (and counting) is also not considered an urgent matter for AF. He has already written advising that he is having sleepless nights due to this nearly half a million Rand error. Your inability to take 5 minutes and write a simple letter is causing undue stress and thus also impacting the health of an elderly gentleman. What’s wrong with you people? Is it laziness or incompetence?
