Incomplete IRP 5 submitted

In 2022, I received my pension payout after resigning from my previous employer, but the process was far from smooth. Alexander Forbes submitted my IRP5 tax certificate without the required Directive number for the pension payout. After days of frustrating back-and-forth and struggling to get assistance, they finally issued a corrected tax certificate and directed me to resolve the issue with SARS. I’m outraged that I’m now expected to pay SARS R1,600 to rectify an error caused by Alexander Forbes’ oversight. This is completely unfair and unacceptable. Through extensive research, I’ve discovered that I’m not alone—others have faced similar issues with Alexander Forbes. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against using their services. Their handling of such matters is utterly disappointing and unprofessional.

I have already registered a case of ***** with the Ombudsman, and I pray they get the Karma they deserve.
