OK so here I am again, posting for the third time since last week! Alexander forbes paid out my provident fund and my pension fund. I have spoken to 5 different people, I have been corresponding with 4 different people and yet the incompetence is so shocking as not one of these people are able to understand why their calculations are incorrect and why they still owe me money. According to the proof of payment / statement I received both provident and pension fund amounts are incorrect. I downloaded my own statement from the Forbes website and my statement dated 1 January 2020 shows more than the proof of payment / statement I received from Alexander forbes after they made a payment. Now that is not the only problem. Second problem is that I am allowed R25 000 TAX FREE yes TAX FREE but yet both amounts were taxed and i didn't get my R25 000 tax free amount. I have sent all proofs to Forbes yet they choose to ignore me and the people who do reply just find it extremely difficult to understand that they owe me money and that their amounts and calculations are incorrect. I even used the tax calculator on Forbes and that also gave a completely different amount than my proof of payment shows. All I want is for Forbes to see that they made a mistake. Their total amount before tax does NOT agree with my statement and it does not show my January and February 2020 contributions. Just fix it !!! I am so tired of having to fight for what is mine. I am so tired and *********** people handling our money and being untruthful!!! DON'T USE ALEXANDER FORBES PEOPLE!! DO NOT USE THEM!!! My wife had exactly the same problem last year and now yet again same uneducated staff working on mine!
