Incompetence and refusal to correct tax certificate filing

Alexander Forbes Financial Services has issued an incorrectly referenced tax certificate as part of the SARS employer/third party data submission process which they are legally obligated to do. I have been sent from pillar to post trying to get this corrected and they keep on insisting that I must correct it (despite all guidance and legislation indicating otherwise). SARS E-filing is not accepting the manual certificate and I am therefore unable to finalise my tax submission and claim my refund.

I cannot believe this company is entrusted to manage people's money.
