I hope I am reading the signs wrong.
I was surprised when I did not receive my pension in October 2022. After a complaint on HelloPeter, it turned out that Alexander Forbes informs pensioners in about February annually that they should submit a Certificate of Existence to continue receiving their pension. (It seems that this does not apply to all pensioners).
I received no notification from Alexander Forbes during 2022 in this regard and received my pension after submitting the required documentation. I asked whether I had the assurance that this would not happen again. In retrospect, the only indication that something was wrong was that I did not receive my InfoSlips information in October 2022.
I did not receive the InfoSlips information in May 2023. Maybe a minor glitch resulted in me not receiving the InfoSlips information, or perhaps a major glitch resulted in my details still not being in the database of pensioners to be informed that they must submit their Certificates of Existence - it should be easy to check this by using my account number.
I did send an e-mail to the required e-mail address, but since it receives numerous e-mails, I may not be assisted by the 24th of May when my pension is due.
I contacted Unisarf directly in the meantime and received a response within less than 24 hours. I hope they will be able to assist.
