Disappointing Experience with Alexander Forbes Fund

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I have received from Alexander Forbes Fund. Despite their stated 6 to 8-week withdrawal process, I have been waiting since August 2024 after submitting all required documents, including my completed withdrawal form, ID, marriage certificate, and proof of account.

Throughout this period, I have had numerous interactions with the call centre, only to be met with continuous delays and miscommunications. The team repeatedly emailed the back office with my documentation, yet no progress was made. In my recent conversation today, a consultant confirmed that the team member assisting me last week had emailed the incorrect internal address. The consultant I spoke with yesterday has now emailed the correct address, but this is just another example of the inefficiency I have experienced.

I have not received any follow-up phone calls, despite promises from consultants to provide feedback. There has been no communication via email to request additional information or to update me on the status of my claim.

I am grateful that my current employer uses a different fund administrative company, as I will avoid dealing with Alexander Forbes Fund in the future. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing.
