<p>Hi there</p> <p> </p> <p>About a month ago I submitted my forms as I was resigning from my previous company. I received an SMS on the 06th of Septemeber from Alexander Forbes telling me that Alexander Forbes has received my claim and will pay me back within four weeks if all documentation is in order.</p> <p> </p> <p>Because this week is the fourth week I called them to follow up on the status of my claim. A call centre guy told me that they have not paid becuase my surname is different from the one they have on the system. He told me to send marriage certificate. My question to the guy was if I hadn't called, when were you going to inform me of this. He said they have been using my previous company email address to give me updates.</p> <p> </p> <p>How on earth does one resign from a company and you still use that company email address for communication? And why didn't they contact me on the cell phone number which they used to send me the SMS?</p> <p> </p> <p>Anyway this morning I submitted all documetation and I called the centre to confirm that they have received it to ensure that all is in order. The guy who was helping me told me that he can't help me because their system is not retrieving any of my information. He indicated that this might be a system downtime error. So I asked him if he can follow up and contact me back once the system is up and running then he said they are an inbound call centre and cannot make any calls. How ineffective, so ideally I should be the one who keeps calling them.</p>
