Alexandra Forbes ****** me off my Pension Fund Benefits.
I started to work on 2008, and later on 2014 I noticed that there's a discrepancy on the years of service. The Company statement states that I joined them on the 12/11/2012, and the correct date is 01/09/2008 as it is on my pay slip to date. I did follow up with my HR since 2014, in 2021 i went to Alexandra forbes office to lodge a complain about my pension fund benefit statement that is incorrect, and i was told that the company that am working for changed the name and now my question was the Company has never changed its name and even so how does the name changing of the Company affects my pension fund, then the lady that was helping me, told me to go back to my Company to query about that, I did query with my Company and my company told me nothing changed within the company as funds are with Alexandre forbes ever since i joined the company. Three weeks ago I received an email from my HR telling me that, AlexForbes fixed my problem, And that they can locate this record on the Alexforbes Unclaimed Benefit Pension Preservation Fund together amount that was unclaimed. But to my surprise there was a new employee number on the statement they've recently sent to my HR with my Names on it. And I told my HR that there's two different employee numbers on my account how come, and he emailed Alexforbes regarding the 2 different employee numbers as to what had happen, suddenly my HR was told in response from Alexforbes that there's no funds on the unclaimed employee number, and on the 1st email they said they've allocated the funds to the unclaimed funds since I've changed my surname when I got married in 2012, now all of a sudden there are no funds allocated to me on my account. I am very disappointed.
