Alexander Forbes non performance

This is regarding unclaimed Provident Fund. I was contacted by a Tracing company that sent me all required documents and affidavitts in order to claim my deceased husbands fund. On 28.4.23 all these documents were sent to Alexander Forbes. On 3.7.23 I received an SMS saying the claim would be finalised within 6-8 weeks. I am now in week 17. My emails all have the same reply - my enquiry has been sent to Admin; feedback would be 3-5 days. No feedback has been received. Phone calls - Admin is waiting for the Resolution from the Trustees - that is all I ever get and when they look at the file nothing has been done. Why send the SMS if this is not going to be the case? I cannot believe that a company as wellknown as Alex Forbes could be so inefficient and take so long to finalise.
