Alexander Forbes - No Service

According to AF they take 6-8 weeks for your pension payout. It is now nearly 10 weeks later and they are stalling. Will they pay the interest they earn on my money for the period of withholding the payout.

I called this morning and according to Botung (who was very courteous and promised to escalate to her Manager), she went out of her way to call Julia Makoti from AF to enquire, the excuse was they are waiting on the Broker, absolute nonsense as they have already completed their side of the process last week. Botung confirmed they have received the tax directive, so what is the delay in payment, the monies should have been received immediately thereafter.

Due to their action I am unable to pay for anything until the payout is received. It needs to be this week at the latest. As a pensioner one now needs to constantly follow up at my expense. This is the exact reason why I have transferred my pension to another company, service is non-existent.

A positive communication from AG would be appreciated urgently if it's not too much trouble.
