ALEXANDER FORBES INACTION WITH POLICY PAYOUT

Another month has gone by without any feedback from Alexander Forbes on the payout of my provident fund app**** for on 4 December 2019. They have been flagged for non compliance on legislation relating to money laundering and SARS tax disclosure which is preventing Old Mutual from paying my funds to them to pay me as Alexander Forbes is the fund holder. However Alexander Forbes has dragged its heals in getting this compliance documentation through to Old Mutual and the fund administrator does not answer my calls or the ones from Old Mutual trying to chase them up about it. They initially responded to my first review on hellopeter with such speed and paid out a partial payment of the funds that were invested directly with them, however they just cant seem to get their compliance documentation sorted out to Old Mutuals satisfaction for OM to release the funds into their account to pay me out. To make things even worse they then the audacity to send me a letter stating that the partial payout was the full and final settlement. I have opened a case with the Ombudsman to investigate AF but that could take up to 3 more months to obtain a result. This remains the WORST company I have ever dealt with and I would strongly advise people to avoid investing in this company at all cost as you will battle to get your money out. Thank goodness the funds were invested in Old Mutual and for OM's diligence in not allowing funds to be released into a company that is not complying to national requirements
