Alexander Forbes — Extremely Disappointing Experience

My experience with Alexander Forbes has been extremely disappointing. I raised a legitimate complaint regarding my retirement fund and was initially told it would be resolved within 4 working days. That deadline passed, and despite following up, my complaint remains unresolved.

I was given explanations around new legislation and told the matter would be dealt with, but instead of receiving a proper resolution or meaningful update, communication simply stopped.

As of 17 August 2026, my query is still unresolved and I have received no satisfactory response.

Potential clients should be aware that getting assistance when everything is straightforward may be one thing, but when you actually have a problem that requires accountability and follow-through, my experience has been that you're left chasing for answers.

Very disappointing customer service from a company that deals with people's hard-earned money. Do better, Alexander Forbes.
