Alexander Forbes continues to defer pension fund payout

As per my previous review for this financial institution wrt to my late father's (deceased in February 2021) pension fund payout, for which the paperwork was eventually FINALIZED in September 2021, only duly judiciarized in November 2021 and vetted by the AF Trustees on 09/12/201, to date NO funds have been paid out to the acknowledged beneficiaries.

It would seem that regardless of all the continually changing requirements and stipulations that we, as beneficiaries, had to meet and comply with, it is standard management practice to delay the payout of the pension fund for as long as possible,

In January 2022 we were informed that SARS had to first give Tax Clearance Directives - granted. However, now suddenly - a week away from February (a year since my Dad died) - Glacier are involved and they need to supply a "recognition form" before the funds can be released.

Unless WE contact AF, there is NO communication from them as to *** is going on. I have approached the Pension Fund Adjudicator (Ombudsman) and will be submitting a formal complaint with them..... AGAIN!!!

Let this serve as a warning for anybody considering a Retirement Annuity with Alexander Forbes, because in the event of your death, your beneficiaries will struggle to benefit from their inheritance.
