Alexander Forbes - 3 Months no Payout
I resigned from my company on the 14th February 2020 and I had a provident fund with the company which I wanted withdrawn instead of transferred. The form were submitted by my previous company on the 19th of February 2020. I got an sms stating that this whole process will take a maximum of 40 days. It has been a lot longer than 40 days since the 19th of February. I have been asking for updates and every time it gets handed to the next person. It is now the 15th of May 2020 and I still have nothing, have not heard anything from anyone at alexander forbes. The people I have been dealing with were : Noxolo Mazibuko,Tracy Van Eeden,Stacy Dyer,Jay Mpanza,Sanele Mpanza,CorePlanClaims - I am not sure how their hierarchy of the the company is but not one of these people has helped me in any way. I got a reply from Noxolo Mazibuko on the 8th of May 2020 stating the following: " Please be advised that your tax application was declined by SARS, citing that ,” DATE: 2020/05/08 TP Contact SARS - ID No on application differs from ID on SARS” you will need to contact SARS to find out what the issue is. " On the same day I sent an email with a screenshot of my details at SARS where everything is under my ID number and my credentials. I tried to phone to find out if anything has been done further but there is still no answer on any of the numbers in their Signatures.
I have asked for feedback or any relevant information from alexander forbes and I have not received any information or news from them.
I wanted to establish more investments with them but ...
It is a real disappointment that alexander forbes is this bad at service delivery and I will show anyone who wants to invest with them away stating this bad service I have received.
I understand it is Covid-19 lockdown but alexander forbes has permission to operate.
I am a very unhappy client, and will spread the word.
