ALEX FORBES - OF NO SERVICE AT ALL
I have called Alex Forbes twice to enquire as to whether there were surplus funds for my late Mother.
There are all sorts of excuses, she was too old, there is no surplus, according to Regulation 35(4) these funds could be in the unclaimed benefit fund due to the fact that they could not trace her.
To be honest this is ridiculous as she was employed during the time and either they can't be bothered or are just not interested in checking.
It would be appreciated if a Senior representative of the Company could kindly explain what age has to do with surplus and exactly how they frame these sorts of issues. I am not interested in excuses just resolution and a document proving that there is no surplus due to her, fully expecting that they will not resolve this issue.
In view of the above that is exactly the reason why my fund was transferred elsewhere.
