Alex Forbes making promises that they can't keep

Alexander Forbes have put me in a difficult financial situation after they had promised me via an email that I will get my pension pay out within 6 weeks after my last day at work as an employee of one of the big 4 Banks in the country. My last day at work was the 3rd of November, I had paid them a visit at their Sandton offices after I called them and be informed that there is one form that i didn't complete, I advised the consultant that all forms were completed correctly as far as I remember. I went there completed the for and was assured that I can expect payout by Thursday 29th November and didn't want get my Hope's high and I told myself that the last week will be before the 16th of December. Today I decided to call and follow up only to be told that commencement of pay out will be on the second week of December which could sometime next week and this means the pay out could be early Jan. I have made financial commitments based on the initial email which I was advised that payment will be in the first 6 weeks from the 3rd of November. They just don't understand how much this matter has affected me, my reputation in the public and my family . I have to pay rent as u have made a promise to the landlord, some of my debit orders are running I an empty account.
