I have an investment policy with AF. I received my statement from AF in mid March and decided to cash in the policy. I phoned AF and requested for the forms to be emailed. Upon enquiring when payment would be received, I was told 5-7 working days. What a joke!!!!! After sending the same forms over and over again to AF for 3 weeks and after numerous phone calls and emails to confirm the forms were received and that the forms were correct, I was told they sent me the wrong forms. After completing the correct forms and emailing back to AF I was informed I would receive payment towards the end of May. I asked my Investec consultant to confirm the payment date with AF who confirmed I would receive payment by 17 May 2023. I made contact with AF again after payment was not received, only to be told my payment would be received towards the end of June 2023. Both Investec and I have asked AF for a letter to confirm the payment date. WE ARE STILL WAITING. AF WANTS US TO TRUST THEM WITH OUR MONEY BUT THEY CANNOT EVEN DO THE BASIC ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS. AF will NEVER get business from me again
