Alex Forbes

I transferred a pension fund from Alex Forbes to Allan Gray. This was a section 14 transfer, but Alex Forbes made an error on the tax directive and now I am unable to file my tax return to SARS. I have been contacting Alex forbes (Glacier) since last year October 2025 with no success. The call center transfers the issue to the tax department, and says I cannot talk to the tax department directly. The tax department takes weeks to reply and places the blame on the receiving fund, Allan Gray. I have requested to speak to the manager in the call center many times and been promised the manager will phone me back. That has not happened. I am now having to pay fines to SARS for my outstanding tax return and Alex Forbes made the mistake that is costing me money. Alex forbes is not attending to my issue or even trying to resolve it on their side.
