6 weeks and NO assistance
I posted on hello peter a month ago regarding the terrible service of Alexander Forbes employees and yet a month later i am still waiting. The person who assisted me has not responded to my emails for over 2 weeks and no phone call has been received to keep mw updated. In August I received an email that there was an unclaimed benefit at Alexander Forbes of my late father that hasn't been claimed. When my father passed away in 2011 my sister and I got his pension payout from Alexander Forbes so it is possible for any idiot at Forbes to see what we go and when we got it. Now 8 years later i receive an email of an unclaimed benefit. What is most shocking is that not one employee does their jobs or assists me!! 5 weeks later and i am still struggling with this @!#$ !!!!! I indicated to the last person i spoke to that i am on my way overseas and this is extremely urgent but she chose to ignore me and not supply feedback!! Instead of phoning her own legal department within the same company to get this sorted she keeps on emailing !! How stupid is this!!!!!!!!!!! I have had to change my flights twice,i have had to ask postponement of my new employer overseas and i have had to make debt just to pay accommodation just so i can sort this out before leaving SA and the *********** employee of Alexander Forbes just keeps ignoring me! Now i have to appoint an attorney so that i can institute a claim against Forbes for the things i had to postpone and cancel and debt I had to make for accommodation as i couldn't fly to Germany until this was resolved. Going onto 6 weeks this week and NOTHING!! NO assistance. It is very easy.. Alexander Forbes can find all our details on their system, make a payout and it's done. All this can happen in 5 hours but i am being ignored and they don't understand the implication this has on peoples lives !!!! I cannot sort it out from overseas as i am starting a new job and cannot call SA every day as no one at Forbes responds to an email. The legal costs WILL be for Alexander Forbes account as i will not pay an attorney to sort the **** out that was easy to resolve in the first place!! People do NOT use Alexander Forbes. I am speaking from experience in 2011 and now the same *********** brainless useless service 8 years later!!! My husband has also moved his pension from Forbes somewhere else because of this and i urge everyone to do the same! Alexander Forbes has NO customer service and refuses to help anyone!

Do you even realize the implication this has on my life right now!?! No because you do NOT care about your customers and there is NO customer service in Alexander Forbes!
The way i see it is very simple! So i don't understand the complication of my matter or even the challenges as there is none! Its very simple.. on your system you can see that in 2011 my late fathers pension fund was paid out to myself and my sister as we are the only children and only beneficiaries as he was not married. You will also find a will that was sent by myself that states we get everything should something happen. Now 8 years later out of the blue an email is received regarding an unclaimed benefit and what has been done about this?? NOTHING because no one is assisting or making this their priority!
I also informed you that i was leaving SA and i cannot sit in Germany with unsolved issues. Now i have had to ask my new employer if i could start on a different date and i had to borrow money just for accommodation in SA as i couldn't fly anymore as you don't do your job !! I have said it over and over again that this needs to be sorted as now i am sitting in SA with NO income because of *********** staff that Forbes employs...
So i am giving you 1 day to resolve this. If it has not been resolved by Tuesday COB i will be at your office first thing Wednesday morning and i will go ballistic until someone takes me into an office and resolves this. There are NO challenges! 8 years later Alexander Forbes decided to come mess up my life with this ****!! Now i want it resolved or ill be there on Wednesday.
I have also approached a journalist friend who will write this story and it will be published with all the names mentioned,i will go as far as instituting a claim for my flight and accommodation and if i lose my job as i cannot get to Germany on time because of this I will also claim a years salary as i would then be unemployed. I am willing to go ALL out on Wednesday.
Thisis a VERY VERY easy matter. We want what is ours without issues.
