Selling faulty and defective parts

Alert engine parts are a bunch of ****** who are very much ready to take your money and if parts are defective and have to payback then they refuse.

The end of 2020 I had spun a bearing on my car due to oil shifting in the pan causing starvation. I had basically almost bought all new parts from them that make up the sub assembly. So it's a pretty penny that I have given them. Of all the parts that was bought, I had also purchased an Aisin Oil pump.

After 800km of driving the motor in and the car not going above 3000rpm, I had decided check if my "lift" (a secondary cam profile that comes in at a specific amount of revs so that the car has more power) was working. Lift is set to engage by the exhaust cam at 62000rpm till 8250rpm.

The car had revved to 6500rpm and no lift, we then wanted to check the problem and pulled off immediately, as I had done so, the oil pressure light had came on and I switched the car off instantly.

There were no signs that it was the oil as of yet. I was towed home and began stripping to find the oil pump gear in pieces.

I had followed the correct channels with raising the issue and for me to have an outcome telling me it was not installed properly is appalling.

Firstly, it was prepped correctly by the RMI approved mechanic then installed correctly as there is only one way to put it on as in front of it is the: timing chain sprocket, crank positioning plate as well the crank pulley. So in a logical person's mind, if any of those parts were fitted incorrectly, the rest would have been fitted incorrectly as well and the car would then not start, but I had driven smoothly the 800km.

Till today, Alert engine parts have been putting all the blame on me and refuse to pay me out and an oil pump is not cheap because I had to basically do the motor over a 2nd time.

If there is anyone with advise as to the next step that I may take, it will be highly appreciated.
