Shoe size and failure to give me a refund

I bought shoes at Aldo on Monday 28th June 2021 at Menlyn mall pretoria and on the 2nd of July wanted to exchange , the shoes I bought was a gift for someone so i had to return the shoes to the shop and change the size they said they don’t have the size and they cannot check with other Aldo on their system at the shop i called almost all the Aldo shops in Johannesburg and Gateway they didn’t have the size when i wanted a refund they all didn’t have cash in store and they asked for a credit card of which i do not have, now i find the service very absurd because online they have the size and in stores they don’t ...how is that possible, i am really not happy with this service!!!!!
