Faulty shoes- cannot get hold of customer service

I bought a pair of shoes 5 weeks ago from Aldo online (powered by Zando). The shoes had a manufacturing defect and broke but try as I might I cannot get hold of either Zando or Aldo online. I have emailed, and phoned numerous times with no response.
