Dissatisfied customer

On Friday I went to Aldo in Rosebank to laybuy a pair of shoes since Aldo announced that they now offer laybuys at all their stores. Unfortunately my size was out of stock. The friendly consultant called their branch in Sandton City and luckily they had my size in stock.

I drove to Sandton City the next day to laybuy the shoes only to be told “We don’t offer laybuys only cash payments are allowed in this store” I asked how is this possible and I was told all other Aldo stores do lay-buys just not that particular one. I found this strange because that is now what Aldo alway advertises. I wasted a trip for nothing and couldn’t get a proper explanation. Aldo has lost me as a customer.
