Bad service

Went into the Aldo store in Brooklyn mall where I was a shoe priced R999 when I got to the till the lady assisting me told me it’s R1200 I told her I’m only willing to pay R999 because that’s the price I saw, she refused telling me it’s a mistake. I told her it’s not my problem that’s the price I saw and that’s what I’m paying because according to law of SA you pay for the price that you see on the product. Told her to call her manager( Elias) who than told me there’s nothing they can do to help and was very rude wasn’t even willing to try to help. Please assist as I feel like I was treated unfairly and I’l never go to that Brooklyn store again.... I know my rights and I don’t know what kind of business function is this where customer service is and rules are not followed.
