Alberton NO Glass Works

I contacted Alberton Glass Works at the beginning of June 2020, as I needed to have a new shower installed. Heinz came out and I received my quote on the 8th June 2020 for the amount of R15 801,00. As I needed the shower urgently, I signed the quotation and paid a deposit of R8 801,00 on the 10th June 2020. And that was about it. I didn't hear from them again. On Thursday, 18 June 20202, I phoned them so they can acknowledge receiving my deposit, which after a couple of sighs and moaning, they did acknowledge. And that was it again, didn't hear from them. On 24 June 2020, my fiancée sent a WhatsApp to Heinz, enquiring about our glass, on which he rep**** that the glass was on order. And that was it again, no word from them. So I phoned couple of times again (unfortunately didn't keep track of calls), only to hear that the order has been placed, but there is a problem with the supplier. No mention of this when the quote was done, or when I paid deposit. So, today (05 August 2020) I decided to phone again, as it has been a while since I phoned. My details were taken and I was promised that somebody would phone me back. I can't believe that they don't have a system where you can check the progress of an order? But then I guess, you have to make progress, or know something about glass or client satisfaction. If you're in the glass business, but have no idea what that is, I guess I can understand the behavior.

I'm getting a new quote from Mildo Projects on Saturday, 08 August 2020, who has been supplying me with aluminum doors and windows as I am renovating my house.

I guess asking for my deposit back is like asking Alberton Glass Works to supply glass. It's non existing !!
