Threating residents of leopards rest to cut off water and electricity

so this municipality is threating on switching off electricity and cut water because they and the builders made a huge error, almost everyday the residence of Leopards Rest estate has to go to their offices to lodge disputes. This is totally nonsenses.

I have communicated with the council and I can confirm that this was an oversight on their side. There is a list of clients with the same issue. Counsel did not update their system from vacant land to residential.

Once they update their system, the vacant land charges will be reversed and normal residential rates will be charged. The counsel will not cut any utilities for houses/stands on this vacant stand list.

They cannot confirm an exact date of which their system will be updated, but should you need to follow up, kindly contact City of Ekurhuleni.
