Roboguard acid leak and no assistance from Alarmpro

Good day In January 2022 I purchased a Roboguard on Bid or Buy. The supplier was Alarm Pro. About 2 weeks back the Roboguard gave problems, we opened it and saw the two of the batteries were actually the wrong way and started to leak acid. My husband cleaned the Roboguard replaced the batteries but still no luck. He opened it at the bottom sensor and discover that some of the acid has leaked onto the Pir and completely damaged it. I contacted AlarmPro who rep**** at night not giving me a name at the bottom of their email. According to them there should have been acid marking on the other batteries and roboguard to proof that damage was caused through the leaking battery, they also had a problem because we opened the unit. I also contacted Bid or Buy. However the person from AlarmPro thought that I was rude and therefore he is not prepared to assist. Bid or Buy never came back to me at the end. So people let this be a warning, buy local at least you can take the product back secondly spill acid over the entire unit so it is totally ruined, ensure that there is proof of the damage.
