Be very careful of e-commerce sites from the east.

I recently purchased clothing items from an online clothing site based in Asia. The designs were very fashionable and unique, with vintage Japanese artwork prints ranging across dresses, blouses, trousers etc. They speficially claim that their fabric is Linen, linen/cotton blends or cotton. After placing my order, they confirmed the payment and sent an email to say that the parcel would take about 15-20 days to arrive. After a month and a half, I sent an email enquiring about the progress as their tracking link keeps saying it is waiting for shipment. They responded with a very vague email. Again, I waited for about 3 weeks to enquire about the progress and the same vague email. Eventually after waiting for 11 weeks, I sent a stern email enquiring about the status as nothing is happening on their tacking app. They responded with a link to the South African postal service website for tracking on this side. After 13 weeks, I finally managed to track down the parcel, waiting at a post office for the past two weeks. Very excited I collected the parcel yesterday, only to see that the fabric of the garments are all 100% polyester, shiny and very synthetic looking. The colours did not match the items advertised. The prints, although it is the selected prints, were very blurred and looks like a photo that have been enlarged beyond its pixels. Furthermore, some of the sizes were incorrect from what I ordered, and the styles I selected was not the correct ones. It is the correct print, but wrong style. Lastly on all the items, irrespective of the colour of the garment, all stitching was done in white. Huge stitches that looks very cheaply manufactured. I was horrified, after waiting so long, and paying premium price for natural fabrics to be delivered this very poorly manufactured, horrible fabrics. From far the designs are similar, but close up it is shockingly poor prints. I will not be wearing any of the items I bought!
