Unprofessional service and not a great experience

I had a great experience with Al Nisa throughout my pregnancy up until my birth. I joined Al Nisa as a patient at the start of my pregnancy as I had heard great things from women that had given birth there previously. I went for all my check ups and scans at the facility and was impressed with the ease and convenience of everything however, when it came towards the end of my pregnancy the service was shocking. I was 37 weeks pregnant (everything was booked and paid for at this stage) when I received a broadcast email to say that the facility will be closed for births due to renovations (not even a direct phone call or email) When I reached out for clarification I was told that I would have to find another place to give birth as they were starting to build a surgical theater. I was beyond shocked with the lack of professionalism in the fact that they thought it was okay to abandon a pregnant woman who could give birth at any time in order to start renovations. This is not how a business should run let alone a health facility. To make matters worse I had to chase up on my refund to find another midwife at the last minute. It was so stressful and really did take the joy out of the last weeks of my pregnancy. Al Nisa is really a good facility but sadly because of this experience I dont feel like I will be able to trust them enough to consider giving birth there again.
