No faith in the psychiatric medical field
I was admitted into Akeso in 2018 for 21 days. When I was discharged I felt so much better and stronger. I decided to go to a different psychiatrist as the one at Akeso made me feel like I just need to get over myself anyway someone referred me to a psychiatric an amazing man who got my medication right. I had a breakdown on the 7th of October this year and got admitted into Akeso again. The worst and most horrible experience of my life. I was under Dr Chiman who over medicated me and hardly knew how I was because he would see me for less than five minutes my psychologist Mpumi Mbele how useless never helped me harldy even listened to me and spoke like we friends no progress at all. Both the psychologist and psychiatrist got paid for full sessions yet never seen me for more than twenty minutes . My psychologist seen me five times in 21 days until l changed to someone different and it was too late. I attempted suicide this past Sunday because my meds were not right because iyhave a chemical imbalance and because of the horrible experience I had at Akeso this year. It could have been different.
