Poor servive
My daughter has been admitted due to severe ADHD by myself as a mother. Working in a hospital myself i was aware about medication and side effects regarding medication. I had to phone four times for the medication to be administered the right way and went in to the nurses station myself to show them the right way. After a few attemps we got hold of the treating Dr. The pharmacist explained that ADHD medication cannot be administered at 09:00 in the morning as per ward protocol as this will cause sleep disturbances. I told this to the treating Dr. myself. My childs current medication was correctly labelled at time of admission. Communication is extremely poor with drs to parents. Some nurses were extremely arrogant. I will not mention names.
I am currently sitting with reports that does not make sence as they are totally contraditional.
Exit interviews with all relevant the******s could not be held even though it was planned. I understand that there may have been a more serious case to attend to at that point.
As a parent needing to leave your child at such an institution was not hard enough?
My heartfelt thank you to the "moms" as they call them. They were always kind whenever I phoned. My child still mentiones her name daily.
You cannot play around with medication as this might have an effect with the treatment plan?
