Ill mannered students

This complaint serves to bring to your attention an incident involving Akademia students, many wearing Akademia clothing, during a flight from Cape Town on 10 May 2025, 21:05. Flight ****27. The 2 males students, seated in row 22 (seats D, E, and F), displayed disruptive and inconsiderate behavior throughout the journey.

They repeatedly jumped up from their seats to call out to other students across the cabin, causing unnecessary disturbance to fellow passengers. When returning to their seats, they did so with excessive force, causing the seatbacks to slam into the knees of the passengers seated behind them. The female passenger behind had to remove her drink from the tray table due to the students’ abrupt and aggressive movements causing spillage.

This behavior not only compromised the comfort of nearby passengers but also raised concerns about safety and respect in a shared public space. I trust that appropriate steps will be taken to address this matter and reinforce expectations for conduct during travel.
