Akademia feedback

I have successfully completed degrees at other universities and decided on Akademia for NGOS studies following the recommendation of a mentor. After an initially rocky start (I had to get used to distance education and sort out my Internet issues where I was based remotely), I found my 'wings' so to speak. That was mostly due to the good administrative support (someone always answered within 1 minute and telephonic enquiries were dealt promptly) and comprehensive/assistive feedback from lecturers and compulsory interactive online classes with lecturers that are passionate about their areas and fields of study.

Given the Christian values of the institution (which matches my own) I was concerned that that would limit my exposure to the full bouquet of academic views in this world - I wanted a qualification where things were opened up and not covered or hidden. And I was challenged and pleasantly surprised... I was presented with various views. It was up to me to decide to what extent I was willing to delve deep and study the information and then find and panelbeat my own voice and views. Pretty soon I found out that hard work and effort was rewarded. Looking back on my time at Akademia I can say that it has been one of the most rewarding academic experiences I have had thus far.
