Avoid Airworx Cycles Umhlali Ballito at All Costs

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Airworx Cycles and would strongly advise against doing business with them. After purchasing a defective bicycle, I exercised my legal right under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) to a full refund. Instead of honoring this, Airworx attempted to wrongfully deduct repair costs, despite the defect being covered by law.

To make matters worse, when I escalated the issue to the Consumer Goods & Services Ombud (CGSO), Airworx outright refused to participate in the investigation—a blatant disregard for consumer rights and a telling sign of a business that believes it is above the law. Their response? A dismissive “take me to court” stance instead of resolving the matter fairly.

If you’re considering buying from Airworx, ask yourself: What kind of business refuses to stand behind its products and customer rights? The way they handle valid complaints speaks volumes about their ethics (or lack thereof). There are many reputable bike shops out there—don’t waste your money here.
