Air freshener that lasts 15 days

Airwick has the worst automatic air fresheners ever! They smell amazing ofcourse, but why do they last less than 15 days. I thought maybe the last one had a problem and I bought another and it's still the same problem. Is this done on purpose so your consumers would but twice a month? May you please clarify. Thank you.
