Management hasnt got a clue about customer relations

I phoned to make sure that Airport Steel in Kempton Park has the correct item which I require. I needed specific size square tubing pole caps which I want to use for another purpose. I was assured by a lady at the sales counter (after she checked with somebody) that they have "hundreds". After traveling from Thabazimbi to Kempton Park to buy 50 of the said item I discovered that they did not have the correct size. I obviously lost my cool a bit when I realized that I have wasted R 800 in traveling cost and half a day. The lady at sales at least kept her cool and took me to the manager. When she told him that I complained that I have traveled all the way from Thabazimbi for nothing his reply was: "so what!" It might be "so what" to you mr manager that you cause your customers to waste money, and on top of that you have the odasity to say (in front of other customers) that if I behave you might make the said item for me. If I had the time, I might have waited, but I simply said "no thank you"and left. I hope the owner of Airport Steel read this and realize that this manager is not fit to work with the public! Unless it is the owner whom I dealt with, in which case I can simply shake my head. Good luck to other customers, the management of Airport steel don't care much how they treat you! There are many other steel merchants in the area and I would much rather do business with them.
