********* treatment!!! BAD

Good Day I had booked a flight for my son from Bloemfontein to Johannesburg. When he arrived at the airport he had his birth certificate with him but they refused to accept it because they say it is not certified. He has flown with this airline before and other airlines and has always used either a printed copy of a copy on his phone. He was refused to fly due to this and the staff at Bloemfontein and at head office were not cooperative and not willing to assist. There was not enough time for me to get to the police station to certify and they refused to understand this. I asked that they atleast allow me time to go certify and put him on a later flight and they also refused this. They told me that they will note it as a 'no show' because it was less than an hour before departure time. I just feel that first of all this is an inconvenience and secondly unfair and immoral from airlink because my son was there on time and this was not a no show, and there was never a notification prior to this that the birth certificate should be certified. He flew before without a certified one, if this is a new requirement why are customers not notified. Now i must pay double and buy a new ticket and the airline is not taking responsibility for any of this. This is *********!!!! Both the supervisor at the airport and call center agents at head office just told me they cannot help me in any way. In this situation how can you say that this was a NO SHOW!
