R2 300 to correct a surname
In these trying times were the majority of the country are reluctant and discouraged from traveling it comes as an insult upon injury to charge a traveler R2 300 to correct something so trivial as a surname. Now i am not an airline expert but I am a customer services one and if you are going to charge almost as much as the actual airline tickets costs, then at least have the decency to help me understand why. I had to take out a loan just to correct a surname .It gives the impression that SA Airlink wants to make up for what its not earning from new travellers by shafting the existing ones through various draconian fines and penalties .In these COVID-19 times I believe any airline should be a lot more considerate and flexible when it comes to such trivial administrative changes to bookings.I can appreciate that if I rescheduled the entire flight then that would justify this exorbitant amount .Please can we work out a more fair and amicable penalty .SA Airlink is really not doing right by it’s travellers ,please help .
