No help for Airlink passenger

I'm totally unhappy with the service I received yesterday at OR Tambo Int'l Airport. I had a glitch with a broken luggage on my way from Durban to OR. I went to report that at Baggage enquiries. Sadly when I came back I was told I could not check my bag in. I requested and was ultimately told to ask security. Security told me to go back to the airline and it was that pillar to post til the gates closed. I went to request if my ticket can be postponed to the following day which couldn't be done. I feel the Airline failed me. I couldn't get assisted. I didn't even have a place to sleep. I'm unhappy.
