No final call for checked in and security checked passangers

I would like to formally log a complaint against your airline. After checking in at the opening of online check-in and proceeding through security checks, I was delayed at immigration although I had all documents. The Airline did not do a call for 2 passengers and I am seeking clarity from a point of disgruntlement

On the 24th of March 2022I was checked in for a 10.50 flight departing to Harare. I checked in online on the 23rd of March as soon as check in opened.

I am writing this as a complaint against procedures that were not followed as well as a request for a refund/reimbur*****t of the costs of that flight due to the no call for final boarding for 2 passengers and yet I was checked in.

I was delayed at immigration, passport control when exiting South Africa but had proceeded past security control.

There was no formal check or announcement for myself and my daughter as passengers who had not yet boarded. This is despite the fact that we were checked in and our baggage already dropped off as well as being passengers that had already proceeded past security with the boarding passes scanned.

Our designated flight departed and we were subsequently left behind. We were at the boarding gate at 10.41 because of the delay.

There was no checking of passengers on board. When I went to the flight desk and asked how the plane departed and we were told at the gate that the plane leaves early as soon as all passengers are on board. Had I been on board I would not be writing this complaint.

The airline has a responsibility especially towards passengers who are checked in and past security to verify their whereabouts. I could have been ill and the airline places the responsibility on me.

Please advise and clarify the duty of the airline towards passengers as it is standard protocol to do a final call especially for checked in and security checked passengers. Had that process been done I would have been on the flight.
