Missed assistanted passengers

Booked assisted passenger trip with airlink for my parents. They were assisted through security, and then forgot about, so they missed the flight. When querying, Airlink claimed they were never on the list and needed to buy new tickets. After a big argument, they were eventually given passes for the next flights. Very poor service and poorly handled afterwards. Not what elderly passengers requiring assistance on a flight need.
