ELDERLY ASSIST
Wheel chair assist:
The policy around wheel chair assist is very discriminatory against the elderly and this shows no commitment to social responsibility and the need of their patrons.
My father is 95 and needed a wheelchair and assistance and they refused to provide him with one just because I ticked the one box that he can’t walk on his own onboard. Elderly people are at risk of falling. From the airbus door to their seat they need help but the airline doesn’t provide such help meaning I have to book an extra return ticket to accompany him on a 1hour 20mins flight. The airline should revise such policies and their forms should not just be yes or no without context.
