Disaster at Salink

I had a very traumatic experience with flight airlink from Durban to Nelspruit on Friday, 17 October. The flight was scheduled to depart from 09:40 but they told us it was delayed due to the tower as it could not land in Nelspruit because of the weather.. What is frustrating is that they kept saying they were waiting for an update but could not confirm that we are flying or not. They only told us after 14:00 that it was canceled and the alternative flight to go to OR Tambo left at 11:00. So its either we put the ticket on hold or come back tomorrow. They did not care whether we had accommodation or not. The worst part is that they could not even say that there will be an improvement the following. Chances are we might be facing the same issue. Thank you SALINK for ruing my weekend..
